Freedom Lifestyle Villages is a retirement living developer delivering large-scale lifestyle communities across New Zealand. Three separate villages at various stages of delivery were managed concurrently, each comprising up to 220 homes and a Village Centre, with a construction budget of approximately $100M per village.

The scope covered the full delivery lifecycle from procurement of consultant design teams and design management across both land and buildings, through to contractor procurement and construction management until handover to the operations team. The role was carried out as both Engineers Representative under NZS3916 and Principals Representative under NZS3915, requiring a thorough understanding of contractual obligations under both standards across a complex, multi-village programme.
